US-listed spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $545.3 million in net outflows on Monday, November 2, 2026, extending the recent withdrawal trend across digital asset investment products.
Bitcoin ETFs accounted for $398.6 million in net outflows, while Ethereum funds registered another $139.7 million in withdrawals.
The combined $538.3 million decline from the two largest cryptocurrency categories represented nearly 99% of the day’s total net outflows. Smaller digital asset ETFs also experienced redemptions, with Hyperliquid-linked products losing approximately $2.9 million, Zcash funds recording $3.6 million in outflows, and Avalanche products shedding around $400,000.
Solana and XRP ETF flows remained incomplete in preliminary reporting, with no confirmed aggregate movements available across all products. The latest withdrawals followed approximately $815.8 million in net outflows on October 30, indicating continued caution among cryptocurrency ETF investors.
BlackRock’s IBIT and ETHA Lead ETF Withdrawals
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded approximately $405.3 million in net outflows, making it the largest individual contributor to Monday’s withdrawals. The fund’s redemptions exceeded the overall Bitcoin ETF category’s $398.6 million net outflow because other products attracted modest inflows.
Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), for example, recorded approximately $6.7 million in net inflows. The contrasting movements illustrate how individual fund performance can differ from broader cryptocurrency ETF trends. Bitcoin ETFs had already experienced significant selling pressure during the final trading session of October, when aggregate withdrawals reached approximately $643.3 million.
Ethereum funds continued to face similar pressure. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) registered approximately $138.3 million in net outflows, accounting for nearly all the category’s reported $139.7 million decline. Another Ethereum-linked fund, ETHB, recorded approximately $4.6 million in withdrawals.
Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley’s MSSE attracted approximately $3.2 million in inflows, partially offsetting the selling pressure. Combined, BlackRock’s IBIT and ETHA recorded approximately $543.6 million in withdrawals during the session.
The concentration of redemptions in these two products underscores the influence of major asset managers on daily cryptocurrency ETF flow statistics. However, fund withdrawals do not necessarily indicate that every institutional investor is reducing cryptocurrency exposure.
ETF flows can also reflect portfolio rebalancing, hedging strategies and transfers between investment vehicles.
Crypto ETF Selling Pressure Extends Into November
The November 2 figures follow a difficult October for cryptocurrency investment products. During the previous month, US-listed spot cryptocurrency ETFs recorded approximately $2.16 billion in combined net outflows.
Ethereum ETFs accounted for roughly $1.61 billion of those withdrawals, while Bitcoin funds lost approximately $515 million. The latest session suggests that redemption pressure continued into November rather than reversing immediately after the monthly reporting period ended.
Market sentiment indicators also reflected heightened caution, with the Crypto ETF Fear Index registering 18, a reading classified as extreme fear. Nevertheless, ETF flow figures measure net creations and redemptions of fund shares rather than direct cryptocurrency sales executed on exchanges.
They should therefore be interpreted alongside trading volumes, market prices and broader liquidity conditions. The reported $545.3 million aggregate remains preliminary because some smaller cryptocurrency funds had not completed their reporting.
For investors, subsequent sessions will help determine whether the withdrawals represent temporary portfolio adjustments or a more sustained reduction in exposure to digital asset investment products. The performance of BlackRock’s IBIT and ETHA will remain particularly important because of their substantial influence on aggregate Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF flows.
